What If God Was One Of Us

Angels were created by God to serve and worship him, as was man. They are the messengers of God. They are one of many links we have to God and his kingdom. They bring heavenly inspiration, thought, assistance, and comfort to humankind. We treasure them for their boundless kindness and understanding.Their strength and wisdom. Their beauty and humility. In the presense of Angels we stand in awe.

Beautiful Angel

We are all under the care or guidance of many Angels. Those who stay with us from conception through death; those that guide us in our daily walk of life, those that drop in now and then to share thoughts and inspiration, and those that command whole armies of "the light."

Graceful Angel

Humans are the infantry in the universal on-going battle of good and evil. We are the foot soldiers of God, under the charge of his primary angels. We know the names of the Generals as written in the Bible - the ArchAngels - Michael andGabrieland it is our "commanding angel" that encourages us to ever do the right thing, thus striking a blow against the darkness. For we must never forget the name of the third Angel named in the Bible, Lucifer, the Fallen Angel, who was the so called "Bringer of Light" and the "Morning Star" who sat at the right hand of God before his expulsion from heaven.

The Messenger Angel

Angels, as it is penned in the Bible, walk amoung us. Some people are able to discern that they are in the company of an Angel, while others make no notice at all. We meet them daily. Maybe it was the clerk at the store. Maybe it was the driver in the next car. Maybe it was the nurse at our bedside. It could have been the young girl who tore our ticket at the theater, or the man who parked our car. Perhaps it was the bus driver.Or the friendly person who bagged our groceries. Who knows who among us might be an Angel. This is one reason why it shows great wisdom to greet all we meet with love and kindness.

Wouldn't it be a nice thing if we all got to take turns being an Angel to someone else. To do something unexpectedly kind and in return ask for nothing! Indeed, this would be an amazing world!
